Teammate: Nicole Simonson

I have had the pleasure of having Nicole Simonson as a teammate for 3 years. She is a hard worker in the classroom and on the field. Nicole is majoring in economics with a minor in finance. Something super interesting about her is that she is in her third year of college, she is a red shirt sophomore, and a she is a senior in credits. Her freshman year right before our opening weekend, she dove into first base at practice and tore her labium. She had to red shirt that year.

Nicole is from Laguna Niguel, California. Her hobbies include:
- Going to the beach
- Traveling *she has been to all 50 states
- Sleeping

Nicole is an outfielder and our lead off hitter. Last year she hit her first collegiate home run, which also was a grand slam.

Her favorite softball memory was scoring the winning run against North Dakota in the conference tournament last year to advance our team to another game.

I have been honored to call Nicole my teammate and friend. Great things are in her future!
